As a junior undergraduate Interior Design student, I am currently seeking a 2012 summer internship as an important experience in order to develop my future career in Interior Design.
I am always pursuing a design of large open space with natural light and large windows that allows the breeze to come into our interior life. I believe that physically enlarging a space is spiritually opening up an area to breath, just like 50ft² per worker can feel larger with an open office design.
My design style has a tendency to go towards modern style. Modern has two meanings to me: clean and simple shapes or functions for contemporary living needs. I would like to combine them into my “modern” style, which is elegant, delicate, and functional. That’s the reason why I have done much custom-designed furniture according to the clients’ special needs. I am also good at blending classical design elements into my “modern” design style, and amazingly I found the peace of complement between these two opposite styles.
During 3 years of study in Savannah College of Art and Design I am capable of going all Interior Design directions, especially residential, commercial, and hospitality design. I have good skills in design related computer programs and hand renderings to visualize my design ideas.
